Using as its base the infamous military fishtail parka from 1951, this has been given more of a makeover than usual. Using striking patchwork check material, coupled with denim patches also, it is a collar-less jacket with robust denim hardware used as the front buttons. Two up, two down with the pocket arrangement and some of Lauren's signature bungee cord to secure the midriff if needed. A slight batwing sleeve, shortened and cuffed with elastic so the whole thing doesn't feel too voluminous on a windy day.
